Internship Review
Much of the responsibility for finding and applying for an internship or practicum falls upon your shoulders. Remember, as an undergraduate student, you are responsible to:
Locate and secure an appropriate internship/practicum site.
Meet all internship/practicum academic eligibility and prerequisite requirements.
Submit an internship/practicum proposal, including a resume, in the format required by your department to the internship/practicum faculty instructor.
Secure all necessary approvals before beginning the internship/practicum.
Establish all prerequisites and eligibility requirements for internship/practicum participation as set forth individually by the department or your major. These requirements may include completion of a number of credits or specific course work, a GPA higher than the 2.0 minimum, or admission to the major.
