Mike Secules- Exercise Science

During the summer of 2012, I interned as a strength and conditioning coach at Saint Francis University. During this internship I was provided the opportunity to work directly with Division I athletes in the weight room, alongside the head strength coach. Throughout the summer, I was responsible for teaching lifting technique and assisting in the implementation of strength, speed, and agility sessions with the goal of increasing strength, power and preventing injury. This internship was a great door-opening opportunity, providing the knowledge, experience, and professional relationships necessary to further my career in strength and conditioning.
