Student Success Stories!

Kosta Patsiopoulos- Political Science

While interning for the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, I was given responsibilities ranging from preparing warrants, courtroom exhibits, and other courtroom files to assisting with the preliminary stages of juror selection.  These responsibilities allowed me to understand the background logistics and gain useful insight to courtroom procedures.  Another aspect of the job permitted me to observe various courtroom proceedings, including a full length trial.  Altogether, my internship not only gave me hands-on experience, but it allowed me to network with legal professionals, and ultimately answered significant questions that I had about my future in the legal community.
